This week, we remember the following individuals from our community:

  • A devoted father, grandfather, and husband passed away on 19th September 2026. His funeral will take place in Teignmouth, South Devon. Enquiries to J H Way Funeral Services, Teignmouth.

  • Stephen, an Honorary Freeman of the City of Bath, renowned for his contributions to museums, heritage, and tourism, died peacefully at home aged 71 on 7th September 2026. A thanksgiving service will be held at Bath Abbey on 12th October at 2pm. Donations in Stephen’s memory will support Dorothy House Hospice Care and the Cotswolds National Landscape.

  • A beloved family member passed away after a long illness on 13th September 2026 aged 66. A funeral service will be held at St Joseph and St Teresa’s Catholic Church, Wells on 7th October at 11am. Donations may go to The Royal British Legion.

  • Betty of Franklyns Farm, Chewton Mendip, died peacefully at home aged 85 on 17th September 2026. A private cremation will be held, with a Celebration of Life planned for a future date.

  • Dennis, aged 95, reunited with his wife Trecia after passing on 3rd September 2026. He was a dearly loved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His funeral service will be at Weston Crematorium on 13th October at 1.30pm. Donations in his memory will support Dementia UK.

  • A cherished wife, mother, and grandmother from Keinton Mandeville died on 19th September 2026 aged 89. Her funeral will be at St Mary Magdalene Church on 8th October at noon, followed by burial.

  • A respected husband, brother, father, and grandfather died on 19th September 2026 aged 87. His funeral service will be held at Valley Chapel, Haycombe Crematorium on 27th October at 11am. Donations may support the Alzheimer’s Society.

  • A resident of Midsomer Norton, formerly of Bath, passed away on 11th September 2026 aged 74. Funeral and cremation will take place at Valley Chapel, Haycombe, Bath on 5th October at 11am.

  • Margaret, aged 94, passed peacefully on 19th September 2026, leaving behind family and friends who will remember her fondly. A memorial service will be at Weston-super-Mare Crematorium on 28th October at 12.30pm. Donations may be made to Dementia UK.

  • A beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of Stoke St Michael passed on 16th September 2026 at age 94. Her funeral will be at St Michael and All Angels Church, Stoke St Michael on 12th October at noon, followed by burial. Donations may support Dementia UK.

  • Flossie, aged 96, passed peacefully on 15th September 2026. She was the wife of the late Wally, a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her funeral service will be at Haycombe Crematorium on 22nd October at 1pm. Donations may be made to Cancer Research UK.

  • A much-loved mother and grandmother of Maiden Bradley died peacefully on 21st September 2026 aged 76. A celebration of her life will take place at St Mary’s Church, Kingston Deverill, on 20th October at 11.30am. Donations may be sent to Cancer Research UK.
