Ryan Wilt Zen, 30, who has lived with quadriplegic cerebral palsy and has been wheelchair-bound since birth, is defying expectations through a dedicated fitness journey. With unwavering determination, Ryan has embarked on a rigorous training program designed to improve his mobility.
Under the guidance of fitness trainer Callum Regan at Anytime Fitness in Yeovil, Ryan has made incredible strides. His progress includes standing with support, sitting upright independently in his wheelchair, and significantly strengthening his muscles.

Callum has been profoundly moved by Ryan’s dedication. He has documented Ryan’s journey in a series of heartfelt videos shared on his Instagram page @creganfitnessandcoaching, showcasing the transformative stages of Ryan’s improvements.
Ryan shared, “I am 30 years old with quadriplegic cerebral palsy and require 24-hour care. Since joining the gym and receiving encouragement from Callum, I’ve gained confidence and have surpassed personal goals I once thought unreachable. I truly enjoy my sessions, and my family is very proud of my progress.”
Callum remarked, “Ryan’s persistence and consistency are truly remarkable. Just three months ago, we started a targeted programme focused on building mobility and teaching him how to walk. Watching his progress has been nothing short of inspirational. This journey has been emotional and empowering for all involved.”
