Eleven Somerset hotels have been proudly featured among the UK’s top 250 in a prestigious new guide released by The Telegraph. This carefully curated list celebrates properties that exemplify excellence in hospitality, covering everything from location and character to service, facilities, and value for money.

Two standout establishments in Somerset have earned the coveted Regional Stars, a distinction awarded by Telegraph Travel experts to recognize the highest calibre hotels in the region. Every hotel included in the guide underwent rigorous evaluation by a dedicated team of 60 reviewers, ensuring only the finest make the list.

Rachel Cranshaw, The Telegraph’s Hotels Editor, explained the timing of the guide: “With a staycation boom expected this summer, it seemed the perfect moment to highlight our favourite hotels across the UK. This guide provides honest, expert recommendations on the best in homegrown hospitality.”
