This week, Somerset mourns the loss of 28 dearly loved locals, reflected in the latest funeral and death notices that pay tribute to their lives and legacies. Among them are devoted family members, treasured friends, and individuals whose lives were tragically cut short.
A total of 25 death notices were submitted to SomersetLive’s sister print titles, representing people who resided in or had strong connections to Somerset. These notices, spanning May 17 to 23, provide comfort and solace to bereaved families while celebrating the impactful lives of those lost. Additionally, there were two in memoriam messages and one acknowledgment.
Announcing loved ones’ passing through local media remains a valued tradition, and we are honoured to be entrusted with these important announcements. All funeral notices published in our print and online editions also appear on funeral-notices.co.uk, the UK’s leading platform for death notices and memorials.
