A travel blogging couple from Weston-super-Mare, Hannah Bird, 26, and her husband Charlie Camper, 25, have captured the hearts of thousands by sharing breathtaking photographs and stories from their journey through more than 50 countries over the past six years. Despite facing serious health challenges—Charlie living with an implanted defibrillator after a cardiac arrest at 15, and Hannah diagnosed with stage four blood cancer in 2022—the pair remain undeterred in their quest to complete their travel bucket list.
Their social media platform, which boasts 150,000 followers, offers an inspiring glimpse into their adventures, travel tips, and candid conversations about health awareness.
Among their top ten travel destinations, Jordan ranks highest. Hannah recalls, “Jordan was one of the most unexpectedly incredible places we’ve been. The warmth of the people and the feeling of safety stood out. Floating in the Dead Sea, hiking through Petra, and exploring the stunning desert landscapes of Wadi Rum were unforgettable experiences. The fresh, flavorful food was the perfect complement.”

Thailand came second, known as “the ultimate travel all-rounder.” Charlie shares, “From exploring vibrant temples to lounging on beautiful beaches, Thailand’s diverse culture is captivating. We’re also food fanatics—street Pad Thai and mango sticky rice quickly became daily staples. And yes, our funny little obsession with Seven-Eleven toasties added to the charm!”
Iceland’s surreal beauty also captured their hearts. Hannah describes it as “like stepping into a postcard” with black sand beaches, geysers, glaciers, and an awe-inspiring Northern Lights display—a dream come true.
Kenya offered a profoundly moving experience. Charlie highlights, “Our safari encounters with elephants, lions, and giraffes were incredible, but the kindness and strong community spirit of the people made the biggest impact.”
Peru appeals especially to adventure seekers. Hannah exclaims, “Hiking to Machu Picchu, discovering the Sacred Valley, and witnessing the rainbow mountains were phenomenal. The vibrant culture and rich history add to its magic.”
Japan’s unique blend of ancient tradition and futuristic innovation also made their list. Charlie says, “Japan’s efficiency, bustling cities, serene countryside, and extraordinary cuisine—from ramen to sushi—left us dreaming long after we left.”
Dubai amazed them with its blend of luxury and excitement. Hannah remarks, “From desert safaris to towering skyscrapers, Dubai offers endless activities. The city’s cleanliness, safety, and excellent hospitality were impressive.”

Italy offers a perfect blend of history, landscapes, and cuisine; the Maldives provides serene overwater bungalows and stunning sunsets; and Milos, a more tranquil alternative to Santorini, boasts secret beaches and affordability that the couple highly recommends.
