A beauty salon in Somerset was targeted in a burglary during the early hours of Friday, March 6. Between 4am and 4:30am, intruders broke into the salon located on Woodborough Road, Winscombe, causing damage to the doors and conducting what police described as an “untidy search.”
In addition to the salon break-in, a nearby barbershop window was smashed at the same time, though it remains unclear if the suspect managed to enter that premises.
The suspect fled the scene in a grey Lexus SUV-style vehicle heading towards Sidcot. Described by Avon and Somerset Police as a slim-built man approximately 5ft 9ins tall, he was seen wearing a black hooded jumper and blue jeans.

Authorities are urging anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage from the area during the incident to come forward. Investigations continue with forensic examinations, witness statements, and ongoing inquiries.
