Sidmouth Carnival 2025: Road Closures, Timings, and Essential Information

The annual Sidmouth Carnival returns on Saturday night, marking the fourth event in the East Devon carnival circuit following Seaton, Colyton, and Axminster. This colorful procession promises an exciting evening for locals and visitors alike.

Starting at 7:30pm, the parade will begin on Woolbrook Road and proceed along Arcot Road, Temple Street, Vicarage Road, Radway, High Street, and Fore Street before culminating on the Esplanade at the base of Fore Street.

To accommodate the festivities, certain road closures will be in place. The holding area for carnival carts will be set up from Ice House Lane to Balfours between 4pm and 8pm, with these roads closed during that period. Additionally, rolling road closures will occur along the parade route starting from 7pm to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
