The Sidmouth Regatta and Airshow returns from Friday, 22 August to Sunday, 24 August, promising thrilling entertainment for all ages. Headlining the event are the spectacular RAF Red Arrows, set to captivate audiences with their signature aerial display.
The weekend kicks off on Friday afternoon with the ‘Road Arrows’ Bicycle Display team at 3:00 pm on the Esplanade, followed by the Regatta Airshow at 4:30 pm. In addition to the Red Arrows, the program features impressive performances by the Sidmouth Lifeboat crew, the daring Wing Walkers duo, and the agile Pitts Muscle Jet Plane.

Beyond aerial displays, the Sidmouth Air Show offers a wide variety of activities throughout the weekend. On Saturday, enjoy sailing races starting at 10:30 am, a ‘Surf Life Saving’ competition, and a treasure hunt at 11:00 am. The fun continues with the Knowle Gardens Teddy Bears Picnic at 2:00 pm, alongside two performances of ‘The Sea Raiders’ at The Ham, scheduled for 2:00 and 4:00 pm. The lively fancy dress Raft Race begins at 4:00 pm, leading up to the spectacular Grand Pyromusical Firework Display at Port Royal at 9:15 pm.
Sunday features the Sidmouth Gig Regatta at 10:00 am and more sailing races starting at 10:30 am, rounding out a weekend packed with excitement.
Looking forward to 2025, organisers have announced an Airshow Grand Prize Draw. Tickets go on sale from Monday, 18 August at the Sidmouth Tourist Information Centre, Ham Lane, as well as on the Esplanade and at The Ham on Friday, 22 August. The draw, set for 7:30 pm on the same day, offers fantastic prizes including:
- A three-hour Flight Simulator Experience for three
- VIP tickets for two to the Jazz and Blues Festival 2026
- Tickets for two to the Ham Marquee at the Folk Festival 2026
