A serious three-vehicle crash on the A38 in Somerset has left one person in a life-threatening condition. The accident, involving a grey Seat Leon, a red Isuzu D-Max, and a black Audi A4, occurred at 10pm on Saturday, April 5 near Biddisham and Tarnock. Five individuals were injured, with two passengers from one car sustaining serious injuries and one remaining in a life-threatening condition. The driver of another car was also hospitalized, though their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver and a passenger of the third vehicle sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene. The A38 was closed in both directions to facilitate initial investigative enquiries, but has since reopened in one direction. Efforts to establish the full circumstances of the collision are ongoing, and witnesses, as well as individuals with dashcam footage, are urged to come forward.
