A serious three-vehicle crash on the A38 near Biddisham and Tarnock in Somerset has left one person in a life-threatening condition. The collision, which involved a grey Seat Leon, a red Isuzu D-Max, and a black Audi A4, resulted in injuries to five individuals. Two of the injured were passengers from one of the vehicles, with one remaining in a critical condition. Additionally, the driver of another vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver and a passenger of the third vehicle sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
Following the incident, the A38 was temporarily closed in both directions for investigative purposes, but has since reopened in one direction. Avon and Somerset Police are continuing their efforts to establish the full circumstances of the collision and have appealed for witnesses to come forward. The police force also requested anyone with dashcam footage of the involved vehicles to provide assistance to the investigation.
