Police are urgently seeking the driver of a silver Ford Focus following a serious collision on the A39 Street Road in Glastonbury.
The incident occurred when a black Hyundai Kona, driven by a man in his early 80s, veered off the road, crashing into a fence and a lamppost. Emergency responders promptly rescued the injured man from the vehicle wreckage. He was initially rushed to the hospital with serious injuries but has since been discharged to continue his recovery at home.
Investigations suggest the Ford Focus driver may have unknowingly pulled into the Hyundai’s path before leaving the scene. Police officers are appealing to this individual to come forward and provide any information that could aid the ongoing investigation.
