In a disturbing incident just before rush hour yesterday in Somerset, several vehicles, including a school bus, were struck by objects hurled from a moving 4x4. The attacks occurred between Sparkford and South Cadbury and resulted in multiple smashed windscreens and a broken house window.
Eyewitnesses reported that a school bus carrying children was among those targeted, raising serious safety concerns. One onlooker commented, “This is absolutely disgusting; it could have caused a dangerous crash.”
Authorities say the offending vehicle was a dark-coloured 4x4 with no registration plate. The thrown objects are believed to have included a full glass jar, which shattered a house window near the scene.
