Bath Rugby’s young talent Arthur Green has been named to start at number eight for Sunday’s match against Saracens at the StoneX Stadium. At just 21 years old, Green earned his place in the team following impressive displays in the PREM Rugby Cup, stepping up amid injuries to Alfie Barbeary and Jaco Coetzee.
Joining Green in Bath’s back row are Scotland international Josh Bayliss and Miles Reid, forming a competitive unit ready to challenge Saracens’ formidable pack. The front row features Beno Obano and Tom Dunn flanking Thomas du Toit, who recently earned a spot in World Rugby’s 2025 Dream Team. Locks Quinn Roux and Charlie Ewels will provide stability in the second row; Ewels returns refreshed from international duty with England after recovering from a knee injury.
Bath’s half-backs are led by Ben Spencer and Finn Russell, both back from international assignments, who will orchestrate play alongside experienced centers Will Butt and Chris Harris. The bench packs further international quality with Max Ojomoh and Cam Redpath ready to inject energy.

In the back three, Henry Arundell, Joe Cokanasiga, and Tom de Glanville make up the starting lineup, promising pace and attacking flair. On the bench, impactful forwards Dan Frost, Francois van Wyk, and Will Stuart are set to add power, supported by replacements Ross Molony, Ted Hill, and Tom Carr-Smith.
Bath head of rugby Johann van Graan acknowledges the challenge ahead, praising Saracens’ strong home form this season and their world-class roster. “Sarries have been phenomenal at the StoneX, comfortably overcoming Bristol and Sale in recent matches. While the plastic pitch presents a unique challenge, we relish facing such a competitive side and have been focusing on sharpening our own game plans,” van Graan stated.
The high-stakes encounter kicks off at 3 pm on Sunday, with both teams looking to secure vital Premiership points.
