Former professional rugby fly-half Dorian Jones has made an exciting transition from playing on the field to coaching off it, joining Wellington School in Somerset as the lead backline coach for all age groups.
With an impressive career including over 60 matches for the Gwent Dragons and scoring more than 700 points in France’s Pro D2 league, Jones brings a wealth of experience to his new role. His playing career also boasts time in the English Premiership with Worcester Warriors and a recent season in Major League Rugby with NOLA Gold in the United States.
At Wellington School, Jones will focus on guiding the attacking strategy of the 1st XV rugby team in the upcoming season, nurturing young talent with professional-level insight and techniques.

Jones shared his enthusiasm for the role: “Joining a school with such a proud rugby heritage is truly an honour. I’m eager to work closely with these gifted young players, helping them develop their skills and character both on and off the pitch. There is tremendous potential here, and I’m excited to help unlock it.”
