RSPCA Appeals for Information on Tortured Hedgehogs in Frome

The RSPCA is reaching out to the public for any information regarding the disturbing case of tortured hedgehogs discovered in Frome. The organization has been made aware of distressing images depicting deceased hedgehogs, which reportedly were found on Cuckoo Lane on Saturday, April 13.

Among the photos circulated on social media, one captured a hedgehog seemingly hung from a barbed wire fence, while another showed two lifeless hedgehogs left on a car bonnet. The graphic nature of these images has evoked strong reactions online, with one individual expressing disbelief and another condemning the indefensible act of cruelty.

An RSPCA spokesperson emphasized the importance of showing kindness towards wildlife, underscoring that all wild animals, including hedgehogs, deserve care and respect. The RSPCA urges anyone possessing information about these hedgehogs or any other instances of animal cruelty to come forward and report it by calling 0300 1234 999.
