(Liz) Passed peacefully at Frome Community Hospital on 25th July 2026, aged 65. Funeral service at All Saints' Church, Nunney on Tuesday 25th August at 1.00pm. Family flowers only, please. Barbara Castrey tragically passed on 17th July 2026, aged 90. Beloved wife of Jeff, and loving mother to Alison and David. In accordance with Barbara’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. Friends are invited to remember Barbara in their own special way. (Mike) of Taunton, formerly Glastonbury, passed suddenly on 13th July 2026, aged 63. Survived by his partner Pat and brothers Stephen, Nigel, and Brian. Funeral at St John’s Church, Glastonbury on Thursday 13th August at 3.00pm. Family flowers only. (Ken) of Butleigh passed peacefully on 22nd July 2026 at Yeovil District Hospital, aged 80. Survived by his wife Liz, sons Gary and Paul, daughter-in-law Denise, and grandchildren Charlie, Mia, and Toby. Cremation at Mendip Crematorium on Tuesday 11th August at 1.30pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at Holy Trinity Church, Street at 2.45pm. Donations to Yeovil Hospital Charity welcomed.
(Deacon) Passed peacefully at home on 3rd July 2026, aged 72. Loved wife of Ron, cherished mother to Becky and Ria, and a treasured grandmother and sister. A private funeral service will be held. Donations to Devon Air Ambulance invited.
A much-loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed unexpectedly at home on 27th July 2026, aged 81. Funeral service at Christ Church, Frome on Friday 4th September at 11.00am followed by interment. Family flowers only. Donations to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance welcomed.
A former resident of Glastonbury, passed peacefully at Southlawns Nursing Home on 27th July 2026, aged 94. Funeral service at Mendip Crematorium on Tuesday 18th August at 2.30pm. Donations to Alzheimer’s Society kindly accepted.
(Ronnie) of Somerton, passed peacefully at home on 13th July 2026, aged 79. Funeral service at St Michael and All Angels' Church, Somerton on Friday 4th September at noon, followed by burial. Donations to Love Musgrove – Beacon Centre invited.
(Andy) passed peacefully at home on 29th July 2026, aged 83. Thanksgiving service at St Michael and All Angels Parish Church East Coker on Friday 14th August at 12 noon. Donations to the RNLI accepted.
A much-loved husband, father and grandfather passed peacefully on 8th July 2026, aged 80. Funeral at Holy Trinity Church, Coleford on Monday 3rd August at 11.30am. Donations to Inflammatory Neuropathies UK invited.
Sarah, passed at the Royal United Hospital on 10th July. Funeral service at St John the Baptist Church, Bathwick on Tuesday 11th August at 2.00pm. Donations to CAFOD accepted.
(Bob) passed at home on 25th July 2026, aged 96. Funeral at Holy Trinity Church, Street on Wednesday 19th August at noon. Donations to Street PCC or British Heart Foundation welcomed.
A beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed unexpectedly on 13th July. Thanksgiving service at the Church of St Mary, West Harptree on Thursday 13th August at 1.30pm. Donations to Great Western Air Ambulance accepted.
Passed peacefully at Oak Lodge Nursing Home, Chard, aged 95. Funeral service at Crewkerne Cemetery Chapel on Friday 7th August at 2pm. Donations to The League of Friends of Crewkerne Hospital appreciated.
Albert Manuel passed peacefully at Abbey View Care Home on 31st July aged 89. Funeral service at Yeovil Crematorium on Tuesday 25th August at 10:40am. Donations to Friends of the Yeatman invited.
