Two inspiring Somerset women, Lorna and Rachael Kennard-Wall, co-founders of It’s All About Health, have been nominated in the Health, Social Care & Wellbeing category of the West Country Women Awards. Established in 2022, these awards celebrate the achievements of women across the West Country in various sectors of local business.
It’s All About Health is a complementary healthcare business based in Kingsbury Episcopi, founded in 2023. When Rachael first received the nomination email, she admits she initially thought it was spam. “But curiosity got the better of me, and when I read the nomination, it was a real pinch-me moment,” she said. “Seeing everything we stand for described so clearly was a powerful reminder that our message is reaching people.”
Both co-founders describe the recognition as “surreal and humbling.” Lorna shared, “Being nominated was never something we envisioned, but it’s an honour to be acknowledged like this.” She added, “We’ve just been quietly doing what we love—helping people.”

The nomination was submitted by Ewelina Romanowska of EMR Business Solutions Ltd, who praised the duo’s dedication: “Lorna and Rachael have spent more than two decades transforming how people approach their health and wellbeing. Since qualifying as therapists in 2001, they have built an exceptional practice that empowers individuals to explore the deeper connections between mind, body, and spirit.”
Romanowska highlighted their commitment to those who feel lost or told ‘there’s nothing more that can be done.’ “They’ve created a safe space for people feeling broken or stuck, offering care that goes beyond traditional healthcare. Together, they’re making a meaningful difference across Somerset and beyond.”
The semi-finalists for the West Country Women Awards will be announced on 19th September at Somerset County Cricket Club.
