North Somerset Council is seeking public feedback on the proposal to revamp the busy junction near Churchill. As part of the Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), the current crossroads where the A38 and A368 meet is intended to be redeveloped into a modern roundabout equipped with traffic signals.
The redesigned junction aims to address existing congestion issues, promoting faster, more reliable, and sustainable bus travel. Additionally, it seeks to enhance the commuting experience for pedestrians and cyclists while ensuring smoother traffic flow for the future.
The proposed A38 Churchill scheme includes the implementation of bus lanes, crossings, and the integration of traffic signals within the new roundabout design.
