Princess Andre Reveals She ‘Hated’ Her Appearance but Rejects Cosmetic Surgery

Princess Andre has candidly discussed her insecurities in her new ITV2 show, ‘The Princess Diaries.’ The 18-year-old, daughter of Peter Andre and Katie Price, revealed that she once “hated” her appearance but firmly opposes turning to cosmetic surgery like her mother.

Reflecting on her youth, Princess shared she was often “picked on for her looks,” which left her feeling “very self-conscious.” Unlike her confident mother, she admitted to being “more reserved and embarrassed,” especially when modeling.

“People assume that because my mum was a Page 3 model, I have to be just as confident,” Princess explained. “But well done to her — I could never do that. I used to hate my lips and nose, getting teased for having a big nose, big eyes, and non-existent lips.”

She added that discovering makeup was transformational for her self-esteem. “Makeup allowed me to enhance my features — making my nose look smaller and lips fuller. It helped me feel more confident, even if not completely. Before makeup, I hated everything.”

Despite her past struggles, Princess is clear about her stance on cosmetic procedures. “You don’t need a nose job at 18. I’m not against surgery — my mum has had a lot, and she owns it. But she was the one who told me not to get it because I’m beautiful the way I am.”

Princess also emphasized the lessons makeup has taught her, helping her gradually learn to love herself without it.

Meanwhile, her mother Katie Price has expressed frustration about being excluded from the show. On her podcast, Katie revealed she was barred from appearing, despite offering to participate for free, and voiced upset over Princess’s career being managed by Peter Andre’s team.

Katie said she won’t be watching or promoting ‘The Princess Diaries,’ but insisted she still supports Princess in all she does.
