Princess Andre has confidently addressed critics following her recent Instagram announcement of a significant personal achievement. The 17-year-old, daughter of celebrities Katie Price and Peter Andre, shared the exciting news on Wednesday, May 28, after passing her driving test earlier this month.
Princess revealed she has purchased her very first car, a white Audi A1, captioning the photo simply: “I bought my first car” accompanied by a car emoji.
However, not everyone was convinced that the purchase was entirely her own. Some commenters quickly claimed that her parents were behind the purchase. One wrote, “Daddy bought it no doubt.” Another chimed in, “You didn’t… your parents' wealth and fame did it for you. Let’s not pretend you did this on your own.” A third questioned, “Who bought your new car?? I bet Dad did.”

Unfazed by the backlash, Princess hit back at the doubters, stating, “These comments are so funny. To everyone out there, yes I work and yes I earn my own money which I’m super proud of and so thankful that I’m lucky enough to buy my own car xx.”
Her followers quickly rallied to her defense. One fan encouraged her, writing, “You’re doing just brilliantly, Princess! You should brag about it as much as you want. Keep laughing at the jealous and hateful comments; they only show bitterness. Enjoy your beautiful car and freedom.”
Another supporter highlighted the unfair criticism, saying, “The jealousy in these comments is unreal. She buys her own car, and if she had thanked her parents, people would accuse her of sponging. She’s 17 and can’t catch a break.”
A third added, “Congratulations, Princess! Drive safe and don’t listen to the haters who are clearly jealous that they can’t afford a car like yours at your age!”
Katie Price shared her daughter’s post on her Instagram story, expressing her mixed emotions: “So proud and scared at the same time, my baby girl turns 18 next month too. Lots of exciting things we will be doing together.”
