Princess Andre Opens Up About Uncomfortable Modelling Debut and Childhood Struggles

Princess Andre, 18, revealed she felt “so uncomfortable” after being forced to wear a revealing bikini top during her modelling debut in Ibiza, as featured in episode three of her ITV2 series, The Princess Diaries. The show offers an intimate look at the eldest daughter of singer Peter Andre and former glamour model Katie Price, capturing her journey into the fashion world.

Princess described how a last-minute wardrobe change left her feeling exposed while preparing for a runway show. “The worst thing is trying to be confident in something you’re not going to be confident in. I feel fine wearing a bikini in a pool because no one really cares, but walking the catwalk in a bikini top made me feel so exposed,” she admitted. This unexpected change intensified her already high anxiety.

Beyond her modelling debut, Princess opened up about the long-lasting impact of online trolling during her childhood. She explained, “I don’t think people understand how one hurtful comment can affect you for years or a lifetime at such a young age. I’ve faced so many hurtful comments that have shaped how I see myself.”

Her brother Junior, 19, showed support on the show, telling her, “You’re beautiful inside and out. That’s why you’re doing so well — people see how kind you are.”

Princess’ appearance at the fashion show was also marked by tension with her mother, Katie Price, who disclosed that she was banned from attending the event despite being in Ibiza. Katie expressed feelings of isolation and compared herself to Brooklyn Beckham, referencing their strained relationship. On her podcast, Katie shared her hurt about being excluded from the documentary and posted a heartfelt Instagram message about motherhood, emphasizing the challenging but loving bond between mother and daughter.

The documentary further reveals Princess’ reflections on the difficult episodes of her childhood, including her parents’ turbulent relationship and subsequent family struggles. She shared, “I did have a counsellor and still see her occasionally, but sometimes I find it easier to write down my thoughts than to talk about them.”
