Police Seize Nearly £600,000 Worth of Drugs in Raids on Two Yeovil Homes

Almost £600,000 worth of drugs were confiscated following police search warrants executed at two residences in Yeovil.

Andrew White, aged 60, from Sherborne Road, Yeovil, admitted to being involved in the supply of both class A and class B drugs, specifically cocaine and cannabis. He was sentenced to seven years and four months in prison at Taunton Crown Court on Wednesday, 26 August.

The court heard that on 31 July 2025, officers conducted search warrants at two properties. The first was at White’s home, where police seized quantities of cannabis alongside several thousand pounds in cash.

The second search took place at the residence of 58-year-old Sally Robinson on St Georges Avenue, Yeovil. Officers discovered three blue drums cleverly concealed in a wardrobe beneath a duvet cover. These contained flowering cannabis heads, multiple blocks of cocaine, as well as a safe bag holding additional bags of cocaine.

Robinson pleaded guilty to involvement in the supply of class B drugs, namely cannabis, and received a community order during her hearing at the same court on Friday, 14 August.

Notably, keys found at White’s property matched the front door of Robinson’s house and the safe located during the search.

The drugs seized by police have an estimated street value nearing £600,000.

Detective Inspector Tim Seaman of the Serious and Organised Crime unit stated: “These search warrants stem from a proactive investigation using varied methods and information from members of the public to catch offenders off guard and remove illegal substances.

“Drug use and trafficking significantly affect our communities and the wellbeing of residents. Issues such as anti-social behaviour, violence, and theft often correlate with drug misuse and dealing.

“We remain dedicated to disrupting and dismantling the operations of criminals like White and Robinson, who seek to profit from the supply of illegal drugs.”
