Avon and Somerset Police are investigating a theft and threatening incident that took place at a supermarket on Roman Road, Taunton, in early July. On the evening of July 2nd, around 6pm, a man reportedly took several bottles of alcohol from the store shelves. When confronted by staff, he threatened three employees and smashed one of the bottles on the floor before leaving the premises.
The suspect exited the store carrying two bottles of alcohol and caused damage to two vehicles parked outside. Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the case. He is described as a white male, aged between 35 and 45 years old, approximately 5ft 8in tall, stocky build, with short hair and stubble.
