Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for information following an assault on a shop worker in Yeovil. The incident took place at around 4.15pm on Saturday, 11 April, when a man and woman entered a store specialising in mobile phone accessories on Middle Street.
The victim, a man in his mid-twenties who works at the shop, was assaulted during the incident but fortunately did not sustain any injuries. In addition to the assault, damage was caused to a security camera inside the shop.
Police have been maintaining contact with the victim and have conducted various enquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage and carrying out intelligence checks. They are now releasing images of two individuals they believe may have information that could assist the investigation.

The first individual is described as a white male, approximately 28 to 30 years old, with a slim build and standing around 6 feet tall. He has short dark hair and wears glasses. At the time of the incident, he was dressed in a black coat, grey top, jeans, worker-style boots, and a chunky silver chain.
The second person is described as a white female, estimated to be between 20 and 25 years old, with a slim build and long dark hair. She was wearing a black hooded top and black trousers.
Policing teams urge anyone who witnessed the incident or who recognises the individuals pictured to come forward. Those with information are asked to contact Avon and Somerset Police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 5226099017, or by submitting details via the online appeals form.
