A man in his twenties was hospitalised following an assault at a nightclub in Taunton on the early hours of Sunday, 26 April. The incident occurred at a venue on Bridge Street at approximately 1am.
Avon and Somerset Police have now issued photographs of two men they wish to speak to as part of their ongoing investigation. The victim sustained injuries including a dislocated shoulder but has since been discharged and is recovering at home. He has been offered support services to aid his recovery.
A police spokesperson commented: “We have conducted several enquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage. At this stage, we are appealing to the public for assistance. We believe the two men pictured may have information relevant to our investigation.”

The first individual is described as Black, in his mid-twenties, stocky build, approximately 5ft 7-10ins tall, with dreadlock-style hair. He was wearing a pink hoody, black trousers, a long gold chain, a silver and gold watch, and sunglasses.
The second individual is also Black, estimated aged between 18 and 21, of average build, over 6ft tall, sporting a large black afro hairstyle, with double eyebrow slits on each side and a moustache. He was dressed in a black jumper with a white collar, stonewash jeans, and a metal bracelet.
Authorities have assured the public there is no ongoing risk following the incident. Anyone with information regarding the identities of these men is urged to contact Avon and Somerset Police by calling 101 and quoting reference number 5226113494, or by completing the online appeals form.
