Avon and Somerset Police are investigating a road rage incident involving drivers of a green Ford Fiesta and a grey BMW X5 on Standards Road, Westonzoyland. The confrontation occurred at approximately 5:45 pm on Saturday, January 24, disrupting what is typically a quiet residential area.
According to police reports, an altercation took place between the two drivers, prompting a response from law enforcement. Investigators have also indicated the possible involvement of a third vehicle—a silver car—whose driver may hold valuable information about the incident.
Authorities have conducted CCTV reviews and door-to-door inquiries as part of their ongoing investigation. They are urging anyone who witnessed the event or who may have relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
