Avon and Somerset Police are urgently searching for a man with a distinctive neck tattoo following the sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl in Bath. The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 24, around 5 p.m. in a wooded area near Clarks Way playground in the Odd Down neighborhood.
The investigation is being led by the force’s rape and serious sexual offences unit under Operation Bluestone. The suspect is described as a white male, likely in his thirties or forties, wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and a cap at the time of the attack.
Authorities are actively reviewing all available CCTV footage and conducting house-to-house inquiries in the area. Additional police patrols have been deployed to reassure the community and heighten security.
