Police in Somerset issued an appeal to find a 41-year-old woman named Joanne, who went missing in Yeovil yesterday morning and may appear confused if approached.
Joanne was last seen at around 11am on Friday, 21 August, on Sherborne Road, Yeovil. She is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with short grey hair.
At the time she was reported missing, she was wearing a grey and pink t-shirt, blue harem trousers featuring an elephant print, and white trainers.

Avon and Somerset Police noted that Joanne is known to have connections to both Somerton and Yeovil, and frequently walks between these locations. They advised that she may seem confused if encountered by members of the public.
Anyone with information about Joanne’s whereabouts was asked to contact the police by calling 999 and quoting reference number 5226236595. Alternatively, people could call 101 with any relevant information.
UPDATE: Police have since confirmed that Joanne has been found and is now safe with her family. They expressed their gratitude to the public for sharing the appeal and assisting in locating her.
