Peter Andre expressed deep distress after his 18-year-old daughter, Princess, exposed the unsettling direct messages she receives from strangers online.
On the debut episode of her new ITV2 show, The Princess Diaries, Princess candidly discussed the harsh side of social media fame. As the daughter of Peter Andre and Katie Price, Princess has amassed over 774,000 followers on Instagram and ventured into the entertainment world through brand collaborations and her reality show.
While scrolling through comments on her social media during the episode, Princess revealed some users’ disturbing requests. “People saying they wanna see my feet,” she mentioned, prompting Peter to urgently ask when this behavior started and express relief that it was seemingly the least harmful request.

However, Princess went on to disclose that some men sent messages celebrating her “finally legal” status, indicating inappropriate interest. Peter was visibly upset as he read through these messages on her phone. “Oh my God. That really has made me feel sick, like, in the pit of my stomach. I hate it because you’re still my baby,” he said, concerned about the sender’s identity and location.
Princess explained that the account was anonymous, highlighting the troubling anonymity social media can provide. She shrugged it off with a realistic, “That’s life, that’s social media.”
Before the show aired, Princess’s mother, Katie Price, publicly criticized the programme, stating she would not watch it after being banned from appearing. Despite expressing sadness about the situation, Katie emphasized her continued support for Princess and her career.
Peter’s reaction underscores the unsettling challenges young celebrities face when exposed to online harassment, shining a light on the vulnerable side of social media fame.
