Peter Andre gave fans a glimpse into his busy family life during his recent appearance on Loose Women. The 53-year-old singer and TV personality, father to five children aged between two and 20, discussed the challenges and joys of raising his brood.
Peter is dad to Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, from his previous marriage to Katie Price. Together with his wife Emily, he also has three younger children: Amelia, 12, Theodore, nine, and baby Arabella, aged two.
During the May 4 episode, Peter chatted with panellists Kaye Adams, Jane Moore, Katie Piper, and Myleene Klass, revealing how his upbringing has influenced his parenting style. Jane Moore recalled Peter mentioning how his strict parents, who were Jehovah’s Witnesses of Greek heritage, set firm boundaries, which he tried to apply to Junior and Princess, describing them as “polite and lovely.”

When Jane asked if he had relaxed his approach with the younger kids, Peter admitted with a smile, “Junior is fuming as well. Do you get that?” Myleene Klass laughed, relating to the struggle of managing discipline with children of different ages, noting how tough kids can be on parents.
Peter shared, “I’ve always said my parents were strict, and I passed many of their lessons on to my kids. But when they reached around 10, I started questioning some of those old-fashioned rules.” He acknowledged becoming more relaxed with his younger children, joking that it sometimes annoys his wife Emily. “I’m strict about manners—that’s the one thing,” he added.
Later in the show, Peter spoke about the work ethic he encourages in Junior and Princess, both of whom are carving out their own paths in the spotlight. He said, “They’re great, and I love seeing them pursue their passions. I tell them, do what you want, but work hard for it—nothing is handed to you.”
Princess stars in ITV’s The Princess Diaries, documenting her journey as a budding influencer under public scrutiny. Meanwhile, Junior is building his own career as an actor and musician, gaining popularity on social media platforms.
Peter’s candid insight highlights the balancing act of parenting in the public eye, where tradition meets modern family dynamics.
