Peter Andre Shares Concerns Over Daughter Princess’s Potential Love Island Move

Peter Andre has opened up in his weekly column about the swirling rumours that his eldest daughter, Princess, might join the ITV2 reality show Love Island. He expressed confusion over how the gossip started, pointing out that Princess is not yet 18 and therefore ineligible to participate.

“There’s been a lot of talk about Princess going on Love Island, and honestly, I don’t know where it came from,” Peter wrote. “She’s not 18 yet, so it’s not even an option right now.”

While Peter respects his daughter’s choices and would support her if she decided to take part in the future, he made it clear that this path is not something he would encourage. A protective father, he described the prospect as “every dad’s nightmare.”

Despite his reservations, Peter acknowledges the positive relationships that have emerged from the show, like those of Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury. “It’s about what makes Princess happy at the end of the day,” he said. “I wouldn’t stop her, but if she asks for my opinion, I will be honest.”

Interestingly, Princess’s mother, Katie Price, has a different take. Speaking on her podcast, Katie admitted she has encouraged Princess to consider applying for Love Island. However, Princess herself has expressed reluctance. She told Katie, “No… because otherwise I’ll be known as a Love Islander.”

Instead, Princess has her sights set on a career in television presenting. She shared her ambitions: “I’d love to be a TV presenter. I’d love to host something like Love Island. I wouldn’t want to be a contestant, but I’d love to be as good as Maya Jama.”

Last year, Princess also revealed a wish to take part in the reality show I’m a Celebrity… but only if her brother Junior joins her. “We’d have to do it together,” she said. “It would be terrifying but so iconic.”
