Peter Andre has broken his silence regarding the ongoing co-parenting issues with his ex-wife Katie Price, issuing a firm statement after years of holding back. The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, voiced his frustration following a series of public accusations by Katie surrounding their children, Princess, 18, and Junior, 20.
“For 16 years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today,” Peter wrote on social media, signaling a turning point.
A close source revealed that Peter felt he had no alternative but to speak out. “He’s broken and been pushed to the brink. He’s had enough of Katie’s falsehoods but maintained dignity for the sake of Princess and Junior,” they said. “His mother is very ill, and the stress from all this conflict is overwhelming. Above all, he just wants it to stop—for the family’s sake.”

Peter’s statement was spurred by Katie’s recent podcast remarks about their children’s living arrangements. On The Katie Price Show, she said Princess primarily lives with her but has been staying with Peter recently due to filming commitments. Peter’s response clarified that, since 2018, both children have been under his care “for their safety.” He noted that a family court order in 2019 legally enforced this arrangement.
Notably, Peter disclosed past court rulings that found Katie made false claims against him in 2011 and 2015, resulting in her being ordered to pay damages and issue apologies. He concluded his statement by suggesting further action is forthcoming to address “baseless accusations.”
Katie’s team responded by stating she is “at peace” and has entrusted the matter to her lawyers, emphasizing she will no longer tolerate being “gaslighted and bullied.” A source added that Katie’s recent focus on Peter has provoked his reactive statement, which likely only scratches the surface of their conflicts.
The dispute intensified after Princess launched her own reality show, The Princess Diaries, on ITV2. Katie has accused Peter’s management—who also represent Princess—of excluding her from involvement and barring her from attending her daughter’s public events.
