Peter Andre Reflects on Daughter Millie’s Primary School Milestone and Emotional Family Moments

Peter Andre has recently been navigating some deeply emotional moments with his wife, Dr. Emily MacDonagh, and their five children. After previously expressing his bittersweet feelings about his eldest daughter Princess turning 18 and celebrating a decade of marriage with Emily, Pete is now opening up about another significant family milestone.

In his exclusive weekly column for OK!, the singer of “Mysterious Girl” reveals that it’s their daughter Millie who has been tugging at his heartstrings. Millie, the eldest of the three children Peter and Emily have together, has just finished her final week of primary school. This transition marks a poignant moment for the family, with both parents feeling a mix of pride and sadness.

Peter shared, “It’s been a period of mixed emotions. Emily and I recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary, yet at the same time, Millie is concluding her primary school journey before moving on to secondary school this September.”

He continued, “Watching Millie prepare to say goodbye to the school she’s attended since she was little has been quite melancholic. While I see it as a natural and wonderful part of growing up, Emily has found it more challenging. As Millie is her firstborn, I completely understand why it affects her so deeply.”

Alongside family reflections, Peter shared his excitement about the ongoing UEFA Women’s EURO championship. Having grown up in Australia where female footballers excelled, he’s inspired by the remarkable talent showcased by women in sports. However, he also acknowledged the work still to be done regarding gender equality in athletics.

“By 2025, conversations should focus solely on skill and talent, regardless of gender or nationality,” Peter remarked, emphasizing his hope for a future where equality in sport is a given, not a debate.
