Peter Andre Proudly Reflects on How Kids Princess and Junior Have Grown

Peter Andre, 52, has expressed his pride in how his children, Princess, 18, and Junior, 20, have matured into remarkable individuals. Sharing insights with the Daily Mail, the singer described his kids as “great” with a “really sweet” side that he hopes others recognize.

Reflecting on his parenting style, Peter revealed he was quite strict with Princess growing up, ensuring she only did things when she was truly ready. “I was very strict about what she wasn’t allowed to do,” he said. “I want her to shine and become her own true gem.” He added that he is equally proud of Junior, describing him as a “really good kid.”

Peter, who also has three younger children—Theo, eight, Amelia, 10, and 16-month-old Arabella—with his wife Emily, admitted that transitioning to seeing Princess as an adult was challenging. “Cutting the umbilical cord at 18 isn’t easy,” he explained. “They might be grown up in age, but they’re still your baby.” He acknowledges that he may have been considered a strict dad but feels he has relaxed over time.

His primary goal as a parent has been to preserve his children’s innocence as long as possible, though he understands they need to experience life on their own terms.

Peter’s comments come in the wake of a public dispute with ex-wife Katie Price. Katie recently voiced concerns about not being allowed to appear on Princess’s reality show and the kids signing with Peter’s management. In response, Peter released a firm statement clarifying that Princess and Junior have been in his care since 2018 due to court orders focused on their safety, and he condemned what he described as repeated false claims made by Katie.

He also hinted that further responses to ongoing accusations might be forthcoming.

Despite their differences, Katie’s spokesperson stated she is at peace with the current situation.
