Peter Andre has revealed a mix of pride and apprehension as his daughter Princess celebrated her 18th birthday on Sunday, June 29. The popstar and devoted father admitted that seeing his little girl grow into adulthood is both a joyful and daunting experience.
In his weekly column for New! Magazine, Peter expressed his feelings about this major milestone: “My beautiful daughter, Princess, has hit the 18 mark! It is so scary, but she’s a blessing. She’s very driven, she’s funny, she’s kind, she has a beautiful heart, and she’s completely bonkers – and that’s exactly why I love her.”
He openly acknowledged feeling nervous about the newfound independence his daughter now possesses. “Yes, I’m a bit nervous about it all, because, by the time this column comes out, I have no legal parental responsibility over her… She can do what she likes and make her own decisions,” he said, as reported by the Mirror.

Despite Princess reportedly ending her relationship last month, Peter is looking forward to future milestones, saying, “I’ll be the one walking her down the aisle. So I’ll be a soppy dad all over again.”
Peter is father to five children: Princess and Junior with his ex-wife Katie Price, and Theo, Amelia, and Arabella with his wife Emily MacDonagh. While the younger three keep a low public profile, Princess and Junior are increasingly stepping into the spotlight, carving out their own paths with growing followings.
Princess is gearing up for a new reality show and boasts several brand collaborations, demonstrating her ambition to make a name for herself. Junior is already making strides in music and commands attention on social media.
To mark her 18th birthday, Princess celebrated with a new Audi and shared an emotional moment with her dad during a drive. “We were listening to music and suddenly I heard him sobbing. I was like, ‘Are you okay?’ And he admitted it was weird for him to see me grow up.”
Princess is embracing adulthood responsibly: “I’m not really a big drinker or a big party-goer, but it’ll be nice to be able to go to pubs and stuff with my friends,” she said, emphasizing her commitment to maintaining her dignity and making wise choices.
Peter Andre can now reflect on his daughter’s transition into adulthood with pride, despite the bittersweet feelings that come with letting go.
