Peter Andre Hints at Possible Return to Reality TV with “Never Say Never” Attitude

Peter Andre, the beloved popstar who rose to fame in the 1990s, has given fans a tantalizing hint about his potential return to reality TV, adopting a “never say never” stance on the subject.

At 52, Peter’s career highlights include chart-topping hits like “Flava” and “I Feel You,” and a significant career revival thanks to his appearance on the 2004 series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! It was on this reality show that he met glamour model Katie Price, leading to their marriage in 2005 and the birth of their two children, Junior and Princess. Although they divorced in 2009, Peter continued to maintain a presence on reality television, including a cameo on the 2011 series of the same show and competing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2015, where he was paired with Janette Manrara and finished ninth.

In a recent interview with Woman magazine, Peter revealed mixed feelings about future reality TV appearances. While he enjoys watching shows like Big Brother, he’s selective about participating. Notably, he expressed interest in Masterchef, citing his passion for cooking and desire to improve his skills. He also disclosed that he was invited to join I’m a Celebrity All-Stars but couldn’t due to touring commitments. Despite this, Peter remained open to the possibility of returning to the jungle, stating, “I’ve done it twice – in 2004 and 2011 – but I’d never say never. Maybe next year I might do it, I don’t know.”

Beyond television, Peter is branching out into acting with his first film, Jafaican, in which he portrays a crook impersonating a notorious Jamaican gangster. The film has sparked controversy over Peter’s use of a Jamaican accent and wearing a locs wig. Defending his role, Peter shared personal experiences of racism growing up in a British-Cypriot family in Australia. He explained to The Sun that understanding the line between cultural portrayal and offensive behavior comes from his own life: “If someone dressed up with a curly wig and a big nose, doing a Greek accent, I’d probably laugh – it depends on the intention. But if someone said ‘I hate you Greeks’ or made hateful comments about our skin, that’s where the line is. That’s racism.”

Jafaican premiered in Australia and was recently released in Odeon cinemas, currently holding a 5.4/10 rating on IMDb. As Peter Andre evolves his career from popstar to reality TV personality and actor, fans eagerly await his next move.
