Person Rescued After Vehicle Rollover on A358 in Somerset

A person was trapped inside a car that had rolled onto its side following a single-vehicle crash on the A358 near Taunton, Somerset. The incident occurred yesterday evening at 6:35 PM, close to the Farmers Arms.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received an emergency call reporting a vehicle collision with one individual trapped inside. Firefighters from Taunton Fire Station were dispatched promptly to the scene.

On arrival, crews discovered a small vehicle resting on its side just off the roadway. Using stabilisation equipment, scene lighting, and safety lines, firefighters carefully freed the trapped occupant. The individual was able to exit the vehicle with the assistance of the emergency team and was then handed over to the ambulance service for medical attention.
