A pedestrian has sustained life-changing injuries after being struck by a white van on Broad Street in Bath. The incident occurred around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12.
According to Avon and Somerset Police, the van was emerging from Saracen Street when it collided with the pedestrian, who was crossing the road at the time. The driver has since come forward and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward, especially an individual captured on CCTV standing outside Belushi’s Bar on Broad Street at the time of the crash.
