Pedestrian Battles Life-Threatening Injuries Following Bath Motorcycle Collision

Two individuals sustained serious injuries in a collision on Rossiter Road, Bath, on Saturday evening, October 11. The incident, which occurred around 7:40 pm, involved a pedestrian and a motorcycle.

Emergency services confirmed the pedestrian is suffering from potentially life-threatening injuries, while the motorcyclist remains in a serious condition following the crash.

Avon and Somerset Police provided details about the incident, stating that after the initial collision between the motorcycle and pedestrian, the motorcyclist subsequently collided with a grey Ford Transit Connect. Both the pedestrian and motorcyclist were transported to hospital, with their next of kin notified.

Fortunately, the driver of the Ford Transit Connect was unharmed. Authorities closed Rossiter Road between Churchill Bridge and Pulteney Road to carry out collision investigations and vehicle recovery, reopening the road by 1:45 am on Sunday, October 12. The motorcycle involved was identified as a blue Yamaha DT125R.
