Partner’s Heartfelt Tribute to Father of Three Who Passed Away in Garden

A touching tribute has been shared for Benjamin Swift, a 39-year-old father of three who tragically died in the garden of his home in Whiterow Park, Trowbridge, on the evening of Monday, August 25.

Benjamin’s partner of nearly five years, Cheyanne, expressed her grief and love for him through a heartfelt message released by Wiltshire Police. She described Benjamin as “such a sweet guy who truly loved his family.” He was a devoted dad to children aged 15, 12, and two years old, always putting their happiness and wellbeing first.

Benjamin was a skilled joiner who spent his entire life in Wiltshire. After leaving school, he pursued an apprenticeship that shaped his lifelong career. Cheyanne recalled how passionate he was about his work and how he dedicated much of his time to his children, often building things for them and enjoying gardening and football together.

“A real family man,” she said. “Benjamin was well-known and loved by many, with a wide circle of friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.”

Cheyanne added, “I feel incredibly fortunate to have shared my life with him. Benjamin’s memory will live on in the hearts of so many, and he will never be forgotten.”

Detectives have described Benjamin’s death as non-suspicious. Two men were initially arrested and released on conditional bail, but have since been cleared of any involvement and face no further action.
