Constance Pullom, a remarkable woman who played piano in an RAF band during the Second World War, recently celebrated her 105th birthday in Bath. Born in 1921, Constance displayed musical talent from a young age, learning piano when she was just three years old.
A gifted musician, she earned a scholarship to grammar school and later joined the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force during WWII. Beyond her service, Constance contributed to the war effort through factory work and brought music to many as a pianist in an RAF band.
