Cotford St Luke Primary School in Taunton, Somerset, has been encouraged to improve in several critical areas despite praise for its nurturing environment and extracurricular opportunities. The school, which serves 230 pupils aged two to 11, was inspected by Ofsted on January 29 and 30, and the resulting report declared that the school requires improvement in four out of five assessed categories. Ofsted’s report acknowledged the school’s friendly atmosphere and its strong values that promote appreciation, belief, and challenge among pupils.
