Two separate incidents of burglary on the same day resulted in the theft of more than £40,000 worth of jewellery. The burglaries occurred in Chippenham and Corsham, between 12 pm and 6:10 pm on Wednesday, April 30.
During the afternoon, a property on Box Hill, Corsham, was targeted, and jewellery with sentimental value was stolen from the bedroom. A messy search was conducted during the burglary.
Around the same time frame, between 3:15 pm and 4:30 pm, another property was burgled in Nettleton, just outside Chippenham, with £40,000 worth of jewellery and watches taken.

Wiltshire Police is reaching out to potential witnesses and seeking any information that could aid in the investigation. The police suspect these two incidents may be connected to a third incident in Swindon.
DI Steve Edwards expressed, “Burglary is a hugely impactful crime - not only in financial terms but also emotionally. We are keeping an open mind around these burglaries and are considering whether they are linked.”
