Yeovil Town’s difficult run of form worsened as they were defeated 2-0 at home by the resurgent Wealdstone in a National League clash. The Glovers have now lost four of their last five matches, while Wealdstone secured their third consecutive victory across all competitions.
The first half was a tight, chance-scarce affair, played out under wet and windy conditions at Huish Park. However, the deadlock was broken in the 58th minute when Dominic Hutchinson capitalized on good wide play from Sak Hassan to fire home the opening goal for the visitors.
Yeovil’s hopes of a comeback were dealt a blow when goalkeeper Dante Baptiste made a crucial save to deny Tahvon Campbell an equalizer. Shortly after, Max Kretzschmar sealed Wealdstone’s victory by calmly finishing from inside the box, ensuring the Stones left with a comfortable and deserved three points.
