Olivia Dean is poised to take her career to new heights after selling out four consecutive nights at London’s iconic O2 Arena. The neo-soul pop artist, known for her powerful hit “The Man I Need,” recently released her second studio album, The Art of Loving, and is gearing up for her largest headline tour yet, scheduled for next year.
Her achievements have fueled even bigger dreams. In an interview with Music Week, the 26-year-old singer expressed her desire to headline the legendary Glastonbury Festival, saying, “I’d love to headline Glastonbury one day.”
This summer, Olivia opened for American pop star Sabrina Carpenter at British Summer Time Hyde Park and will join Carpenter again on the North American leg of the Short n' Sweet Tour this autumn. Though the duo has yet to meet, Olivia admires Carpenter’s dedication and work ethic, eager to learn from her performances.

Olivia’s momentum shows no signs of slowing down. Earlier this year, she became the first British female artist since Adele to secure three UK Top 10 singles. Her track “Man I Need” distinguished itself as the highest-charting UK song on Spotify’s Global Charts in 2025. Additionally, she collaborated with Sam Fender on the song “Rein Me In,” performing it together at London Stadium during his UK tour.
The Art of Loving has received widespread acclaim, praised for its heartfelt exploration of love as a deliberate effort rather than mere magic. Olivia explains the album’s themes: “I don’t think love is just magic that happens to you, I think you’ve got to put the time in, it’s a craft, it’s like playing an instrument or any other skill… I’m a romantic, hopelessly, hopelessly. And I suppose I’m trying to just bring a little bit of love, and loving, back into your life.”
With her rising star power, Olivia Dean is set to become one of the defining voices of her generation, and a future Glastonbury headline may only be the beginning.
