Olivia Dean has reportedly turned down an opportunity to headline Glastonbury Festival in 2027, choosing instead to prioritise writing new music. The 27-year-old singer was reportedly offered a headline performance at the iconic festival, which is also rumoured to feature Harry Styles as a headliner.
An insider told the Daily Mail that Olivia and her team had discussions about leading the show, and while she felt honoured by the offer, she decided to focus on creating her third album. “Of course, if she did it next year, her name would be right next to Harry’s and she just wants to move on from that now. She’s happy for him to have his moment, but she doesn’t feel like next year is hers,” the source explained.
There has also been speculation about a personal connection between Olivia Dean and Harry Styles; however, reports suggest the pair were simply ‘getting to know each other’ without any confirmed relationship.

Meanwhile, Olivia continues to make waves alongside Sam Fender with their hit single ‘Rein Me In’. The track has recently made history by spending 19 non-consecutive weeks at number one on the Official Charts, surpassing a record set by Frankie Laine’s “I Believe” in 1953.
Despite the surge of World Cup anthems on the charts, ‘Rein Me In’ has maintained its position at the top for 17 weeks, underscoring its broad appeal. For context, Bryan Adams’ 1991 song “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” holds the record for the longest consecutive run at number one with 16 weeks, while Wet Wet Wet’s “Love is All Around” topped the charts for 15 weeks in 1994.
