Nintendo Switch and Xbox Among Items Stolen in Bath Burglary

A burglary in Bath has resulted in the theft of a Nintendo Switch, an Xbox, and other valuable items from a property on Landseer Road. The incident took place sometime between 12pm on Wednesday, February 11, and 8am the following morning.

Several residents of the home were away during the break-in. Avon and Somerset Police are actively investigating, conducting CCTV reviews, house-to-house inquiries, and forensic examinations. Officers are also liaising with local pawn shops in an effort to recover the stolen goods.

At this time, no descriptions of the suspects are available. Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity around the property during the specified time, or who has any relevant information, to come forward.

An official statement from Avon and Somerset Police reads: “We are appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage after electrical items were stolen from a property in Bath. A Nintendo Switch, an Xbox, and other items were reported stolen during a burglary on Landseer Road between 12pm on Wednesday 11 February and 8am the following day.

“Several occupants were away at the time. We are carrying out CCTV reviews, house-to-house inquiries, forensic examinations, and are contacting pawn shops as part of our ongoing investigation.

“No description of the offenders is available yet. We encourage anyone with information or who saw anything suspicious to contact us.”
