Starbucks has expanded its presence in Somerset with the opening of a brand-new store at the Oaktree Business Park in Highbridge. This vibrant new location welcomes customers from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Store manager Hannah Glassenbury expressed enthusiasm about the launch: “We’re thrilled to bring Starbucks to Highbridge, creating 16 new jobs and providing a welcoming space for the local community. We look forward to sharing the unique Starbucks experience here.”
The store’s grand opening on October 29 was perfectly timed for coffee lovers to enjoy the festive Starbucks Christmas menu. Highlights include seasonal favorites like gingerbread lattes, toffee nut lattes, and chocolate mousse lattes, designed to add warmth to the winter season.

Customers can relax in comfortable indoor seating with free Wi-Fi available for those wanting to catch up on work or connect with friends. Delivery service through Uber Eats is expected to be fully operational within a month, making it even easier to enjoy Starbucks favorites from home or the office.
In line with Starbucks’ commitment to sustainability, customers who bring a reusable cup to the store will receive 25p off their beverage purchase. Additionally, the new Highbridge branch supports the Too Good To Go app, helping reduce food waste by connecting customers with unsold food at discounted prices.
