New Plans Revealed for 600 Home Estate on Farmland

The anticipation of a proposal to build up to 600 houses and flats on the outskirts of Chippenham is growing as planning officers at Wiltshire Council have requested an environmental impact assessment from an unidentified applicant. The proposed development is set for Forest Farm, located just east of Pewsham, south of the A4 London Road, and east of the Pewsham Way bypass. The need for an EIA scoping opinion suggests that plans for a large-scale housing project are in progress. If a planning application is submitted, the assessment on the estate’s impact on the environment will be a key consideration.
