Introducing the new headteacher of Sexey’s School in Bruton, Steve Clayson. With over 27 years of experience in education and 17 years in senior leadership roles at secondary schools and a sixth form college, Steve is well-equipped to lead the Church of England state boarding and day school. Steve is eager to work alongside the dedicated staff at Sexey’s School to provide the best possible education for the students. Already engaging with staff and students, Steve plans to establish connections with parents, carers, and the broader community in the near future. His appointment marks a new beginning for the school, which operates under the Quantock Education Trust, an organization focused on fostering achievement, culture, and character among young people across its schools.
